Illinois Helpline for opioid and other substances
Do you, or someone you know, need help dealing with an opioid addiction? Illinois has launched a Helpline for Opioids and Other Substances. The Helpline is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week for individuals experiencing opioid use disorders, families, and anyone affected by the disease. It is CONFIDENTIAL and FREE. DuPage County RxBox Drug Take Back Program
Nationally, regionally and even locally there has been growing concern about what we all do with the medicines that are left over in our cabinets. The RxBox program helps to reduce the amount of unused and expired medications in our households and dispose of them in a way that is the safest for our environment. The medications will be incinerated in collaboration with the Illinois Environmental Protection Agency using state-of-the-art technology.

This conversation brochure was developed in partnership with the Robert Crown Center. This guide will educate parents on up to date facts on alcohol and marijuana and provides tips on how to get this important conversation started.
InTouch Crisis Hotline-UIC Counseling Center
The InTouch Hotline is a free telephone crisis intervention, counseling, and referral service offered to UIC students and members of the greater Chicagoland area. The Hotline is staffed by volunteers trained through the UIC Paraprofessional Program. Calls placed to the Hotline remain confidential and are treated in an objective, non-judgmental fashion.
